Vote For Integrity: Time
For Gingrich To Go

The Vote For Integrity Political
Action Committee (VFI) today endorsed candidate Russ Diamond to be the
candidate to represent Republicans in the House of Representatives' 101st
district.
Vote For Integrity's Chairman,
Ken Schaefer said the choice of Russ Diamond over Bruce Kreider was difficult,
but necessary to help insure the defeat of Mauree Gingrich next Tuesday.
Schaefer said that the choice
of two qualified candidates on the ballot opposing Gingrich would split
the growing anti-Gingrich vote and possibly enable her to prevail in her
quest to continue as a career politician.
"Comparing Diamond and Kreider
in three recent public forums has convinced a number of our members and
friends to vote for Diamond", Schaefer said. "Diamond's consistent and
strong record of working for reform of our state government was the deciding
factor."
Schaefer added that Gingrich's
recent widely-publicized actions, including her refusal to respond to requests
of the Lebanon Daily News to answer important questions, have marginalized
her and irreparably tarnished her reputation. She has forfeited her right
to represent the people in the 101st district. A very recent $10,000 campaign
contribution to Gingrich from former speaker of the House, John Perzel,
the republican 'old guard' establishment leader, was the icing on
the cake, Schaefer said.
Schaefer is urging all of
Vote For Integrity's members and friends to vote for Russ Diamond next
Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
Ken Schaefer is chairman
of Vote For Integrity, a bi-partisan political action committee dedicated
to helping bring integrity to Pennsylvania’s state government, based in
Lebanon County, PA. To date, has not endorsed nor contributed funds to
either Russ Diamond or Bruce Kreider.
